Pull permits on every roofing job. For your protection and to ensure that your roof was installed in a safe and proper way.
Redo apron flashing. It tends to be the #1 reason for a leaking roof. Not everyone does this. Apron flashing is a type of flashing that is used to seal the joint between a roof and a vertical surface, such as a wall or chimney.
Go into the attic to check for proper ventilation and to inspect the chimney cap. Sometimes bathroom and kitchen vents aren't hooked up correctly and are being ventilated into the attic which can create excess moisture in the attic.
Use gutter protection guards when working on your home. These guards protect your gutters from ladder damage during construction.
